BYD Denza to launch N8L six-seat hybrid SUV in late Oct
BYD's premium brand Denza will officially launch its N8L large six-seat SUV (sport utility vehicle) later this month, Li Hui, the brand's general manager, said on Weibo yesterday.
Li said that the N8L has garnered significant interest since pre-sales began, particularly among families with children.
Denza commenced pre-sales for the N8L on September 26, targeting the family vehicle market with the large six-seat SUV.

Two variants of the N8L are available during pre-sales.
The vehicle is a large six-seat plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) with dimensions of 5,200 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,820 mm in height, featuring a wheelbase of 3,075 mm.
It can be viewed as a slightly scaled-down version of the Denza N9 flagship SUV launched in March, which measures 5,258 mm long, 2,030 mm wide, and 1,830 mm high, with a wheelbase of 3,125 mm.
The N8L incorporates BYD's e3 technology, utilizing three-motor independent drive with rear-wheel steering capability.
Its engine displacement is 1,995 ml, delivering 152 kW of power.
The front motor achieves a peak power of 200 kW, while both rear motors reach 180 kW each.
Its motors can deliver a peak power of up to 560 kWh (751 horsepower), enabling the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 3.9 seconds.
The N8L is equipped with BYD blade batteries specifically designed for PHEVs, delivering a CLTC battery range of 230 kilometers. With a full tank of fuel and fully charged batteries, the combined range reaches 1,300 kilometers.
Like many other models, the model features an onboard refrigerator, a large rear-seat entertainment screen, and integrates the DeepSeek AI large model into the cabin.
Denza had previously launched the N8 in August 2023, but the hybrid SUV has since been discontinued. The N8L's exterior design differs significantly from the N8.
