Geely Galaxy M9 SUV hits 10,000 deliveries 1 month after launch
Geely Auto sub-brand brand Geely Galaxy announced that the M9 has reached 10,000 deliveries, just one month after the launch of the six-seat large hybrid SUV (sport utility vehicle).
The 10,000th Geely Galaxy M9 owner is renowned Chinese pipa virtuoso Fang Jinlong, Geely Galaxy announced on Weibo.
Built on Geely's Electric Architecture Evo (GEA Evo) platform, the M9 measures 5,205 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,800 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,030 mm.

By comparison, the six-seat Li L9 extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) from Li Auto measures 5,218 mm in length, 1,998 mm in width, and 1,800 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,015 mm.
Its highly competitive pricing is the M9's core selling point, establishing a new price benchmark in the full-size SUV segment through robust cost control, Deutsche Bank analyst Wang Bin's team said in a September research note.
The team projected average monthly sales of about 5,000 units for the M9.
Geely Auto recorded a record September sales volume of 273,125 units, representing a 35.24 percent year-on-year increase and a 9.18 percent rise from August.
This growth was primarily driven by robust performance from Geely Galaxy, which sold a record 120,868 vehicles in September -- a 131.06 percent year-on-year surge and a 9.22 percent increase from August.
